I went in with one dress in mind that I had been eyeing for months.
After speaking with Kelsey before sh She brought 6 dresses in, most of which I favorited online, but I was immediately drawn to one she pulled on her own. I put it on first and knew that that was going to be my dress! She nailed the look and feel I was going for and I wound up walking away with a dress that I never thought I would get.
I also opted to do my fittings there, I required 2. I do wish that the fitting appointments went a little better. They felt incredibly rushed and despite being the first or second appointment, mine were never on time. I did have one bead come loose and hang off my dress on my wedding day from where they had to take it in.
Overall, I had a great experience and I am still so in love with my gown! Kleinfelds are simply the best between the tailors and the people on the floor!
They make you feel like a bride during a pandemic and will find something in your size and budget!!! I had a very good experience at Kleinfeld. Paula my consultant was kind and sweet She was very efficient and narrowed down my options based on how I felt about the prior dress. Throughout the entire appointment there was one dress she wanted me to try on and she searched for it until BAM it was in the dressing room right before we were going to wrap up the appointment. My only downside- due to space restrictions we had to share a couch with another family.
I think this allowed our appointment to go a little more smoothly. I had a general idea of what I liked before I went in to the appointment.
Worst experience ever! So many better special boutiques in NYC! I had such an amazing consultant, Lisa F. She was so wonderful and my family had such a good time with her. When it came to alterations, that was a whole different story. The seamstress I had seemed l Tina saved entire dress. I had a wonderful experience here picking out my wedding dress. My consultant, Kayla, listened to what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect dress based on my Kelsey helped me pick out my dress in I am not a fashion person and I asked her to select something she thought would look good with my skin tone and body type.
She returned with a gorgeous A-line that blush tones. It was beautiful and My mom and I had so much fun! Would not recommend. Dress was two sizes to big , alterations did not help. Overskirt came with a line down the middle and holes I went to multiple stores before going to Kleinfeld's and thought my consultant, Kelsey was the best ever! She was knowledgable, very patient, and really wanted to find the perfect dress for me.
She was amazing!! Where do I start? She had to drive to the city and take off work and pay for parking. You think after 2 sessions the place would offer to pay for her parking because they are such an establishment? They paid for her parking once! Basically the first two times the seamstress was suppose to get everything done and take notes and take care of it, except she botched the entire dress and get this..
So after all this. If this happened to me or any other guy with some backbone- there would be a war. Embarrassing and sad. TLDR: Walk out if they make you pay in full before you see final alterations. Took 7 sessions to get dress right. Very grumpy seamstress. Sales team is great to catch you and get you to commit.
If don't want your heart broken or don't have an unlimited budget where the attendants will literally trip over each other to get a commission from you, run - don't walk - away. I told my mom that I would definitely be saying yes that day, as Lisa worked wonders on the show. She was rude, unorganized, unknowledgeable, and impatient as we worked to find my dress. I will spare the long details of what went on for the duration of that appointment, but all I can say is in sharing my negative experience, a bunch of others came out of the woodwork, which ultimately made me feel nothing but relief for not getting my dress there.
Just because they're a big name does not mean they care for you, and I will not recommend them to anyone, ever. Kleinfeld's was amazing to work with and use as the bridal salon for my wedding dress.
Everyone says it, but it is completely true, there is no place like Kleinfeld's and it's more than a salon, it's the complete experience that every bride loo From the moment I arrived to find my dress the associate Sydney, knew the look I was going for.
I showed her the picture of the venue and the style of the dress that I was looking for she guided me to many dresses and as I tried them on she was able to narrow it down to my YES!
Once I had the dress, the Kleinfeld team was so easy to work with in terms of providing the timeline for alterations and paired me with AJ who was beyond phenomenal. He and the team had me bridal ready when we found the perfect veil, halo and earrings to complete the look.
Just go to Kleinfeld Bridal Salon and let the team work their magic because they turn every woman into the most beautiful and confident bride that they can be.
The experience I had at kleinfeld was amazing! My bridal consultant was so kind and patient with me. I went here because of the amazing selection the store offers. I originally bought my wedding dress at a different store over a year ago prior I came to question my original wedding dress choice and traveled to Kleinfeld.
I told my consultant : Sunny. She looked at my dress photo and the dresses on my profile I favorited. She really took the time to listen to me. Sunny understood that I was going to make a second appointment to have my mother at the appointment, and that at the first appointment I would not be purchasing a dress. Sunny never pushed me to make a choice and still treated me very well despite knowing a sale was not going to be made that day.
She truly made my experience one of a kind. When i went back for the second appointment with my family, I specifically requested her even after being offered a senior staff member and i do not regret my choice. Sunny made the experience stress free and fun. Where i finally said yes to the dress and was not pressured into a choice. When you go to Kleinfeld you will be treated well and have a fun experience. When you go ask for Sunny you will not be disappointed.
I had a phenomenal experience at Kleinfeld! I went on a Tuesday and it was still busy not surprised. Morgan was incred I asked to see two dresses in particular and she brought two additional with her. I ended up falling head over heels with her recommendation she saved the best for last, too. She took the time to try on 3 different veils, a headpiece Morgan was the best, the atmosphere is exactly what young high school me dreamed about. Absolutely loved my visit to Kleinfeld. Michelle was a complete sweetheart who helped ease my anxieties and included me in so much of the process.
I am incredibly grateful after going to RK bridal and feeling uneasy and unsure. Ladies, give Kle False advertisement! Kleinfeld did not live up to the hype! I really felt like my appointment was rushed, they are busy so no time to cater to bride. I came in with a very clear and simple vision with some wigg Literally I wanted a simple mermaid dress with no tulle, with some sparkle.
My experience is certainly NOTHING like the show makes it seem, and I was brought into this little tiny room and basically was told to pull from that room. Imagine my disappointment when they tell you that this is basically it and all you have to choose from. Reality is much different from tv. My consultant Mindy was very nice but not very helpful, regardless of how many people she brought in. I ended up finding my perfect dream dress at RK Bridal, where they had endless options and better prices.
Ladies go to RK Bridal! What a different experience!!! Not old!!! Moreover, this is in the midst of Covid They are taking obvious precautions for Covid, which took that pressure off. You cannot really browse the store, which is overwhelming, bc they have room after room of just gorgeousness. I was sold between two dresses No regrets. I thank my consultant and her patience with me.
I went to Kleinfeld's on Saturday to look at wedding dresses for the first time and I was feeling really nervous to go and pretty sad because my mom couldn't come given the travel restrictions. But as soon as I got there I immediately felt ta She made me feel so confident and was so patient as I face-timed my mom, and took loads of pictures and videos. Not to mention, with her help, I found my dream dress! Kelsey also helped me envision how it could look with a few alterations.
I'm so thankful she was my bridal consultant and can't wait to come back in July! But after only 6 dresses, I found the one! Shay was my consultant and knew me better than I knew myself. I came with several pictures of varying dresses I didn't know what I wanted. I thought I wanted a fit and flare lace dress with long sleeves.
I found the dress on their website, showed it to Shay, and he put me in the dress. And we both agreed it wasn't the one. Or even close. During our appointment, he got to know me. And he put me in several different silhouettes until we found the look I wanted. From there, he pulled a dress I had printed out. Before putting the dress on, we were both wary. I didn't want strapless or a sweetheart or a full skirt.
But once he buttoned me up, we both went silent and started smiling. It was the one. And for the next year and a half, I waited to try the dress on again for my fitting. With COVID, my wedding date changed, and the salon was very accommodating to get me my dress on time.
Loreno did my alterations and made sure I didn't leave with my dress until it looked perfect. She helped me learn to bustle the dress. And made sure I was able to comfortably walk and breathe for the big day. Kleinfeld's didn't disappoint, and definitely took care of me during my time there. The staff was always nice and cordial. If you want the full bridal experience, where you feel like a princess every time, this is the place to go. As a matter of fact, my mom and I were going to get the Kleinfeld experience.
Not only was the staff friendly, but Morgan guided me to try on a style I h I cannot wait to try on my gown again! Had the best experience with my consultant Krissy!
She was understanding, helpful and honest! Such a fairytale! It was everything I dreamed of and more! Even better than what you see on tv! My consultant Morgan was amazing!
She was so friendly and kind and really knew her stuff. She pulled so many great dresses for me! I really enjoyed working with her and highly recommend her! The salon is gorgeous! I was so wowed and awestruck the entire time. There are so many gorgeous dresses to choose from in a wide variety of price points.
I was in the back area rather than the main salon, but actually loved that because it felt private and I felt so special having that whole area to myself! Everyone was so friendly, even the ladies cleaning the bathroom and working security were so wonderful! I got to meet some of the cast of the show and got to live out my Say Yes to the Dress dreams!
Loved my experience there!! We got in a little late so my mom and MIL had to sit outside the dressing room instead of on the main floor, but it was so much fun. For sure let the stylists pick at least one out of the box dress for you, mine did
