I guess doing all three quests should result in one that is not stolen If you wish to keep the special statues, you will have to be okay with the "Stolen" tag. I also still think Haelga was supposed to take the statue back as a trade for providing you with payment, but I'm unsure. I stole the item again anyways, and I don't believe another repawned in the bunkhouse again. It's been a while since I did that mini-quest. To answer the OP's question, unless you have a PC there is very little you can do to remove the stolen tag.
Haelga was supposed to take the statue back, I think. Onto our second victim, who is the merchant Bersi Honey-Hand. He can be found in his shop, the Pawned Prawn. The shop can be found next the Bee and Barb inn. Once you enter, engage in a conversation with him and as before, ask him about the payments owed. He will tell you that the guild is all talk and to prove him otherwise, take out a melee weapon or your fists and break the yellow colored urn that is opposite to him.
He will shriek once in a while and ask you to stop but keep on hitting it until it shatters. Talk to him again and he'll gladly pay you the money and ask you to leave without breaking anything else. By now, apparently the whole city recognizes you as a messenger of the guild and due to this, Haelga will pay right away out of pure fear, making her part of the quest a breeze. Otherwise, you'll have to steal her prized Statue of Dibella and use it as leverage. It doesn't matter which order you visit the victims.
Whomever you visit third will cough up the dough without argument or need to use "leverage". Finally, return back to Brynjolf in the Ragged Flagon and inform him that you have comleted the tasks. He will tell you to walk with him and will introduce you to a character named Mercer, who will give you the next quest, and will welcome you to the Thieves' Guild.
Was this guide helpful? YES NO. You're turning out to be quite the prize! That's the way it goes, so you better get used to it. Our methods involve secrecy and discretion. In any case, he will then go on to ask if you're up to "handling a few deadbeats" for him. I want you to explain to them the error of their ways," Brynjolf will explain, then tell you who they are at your inquiry: "Keerava, Bersi Honey-Hand and Haelga.
Do this right, and I can promise you a permanent place in our organization. After Brynjolf tells you to get going, the quest will update with the three debts to recover. You can head topside immediately you'll have to go back through the Ratway , but it also pays to stay a bit longer and ask Brynjolf about the marks.
His dialogue will reveal weaknesses to exploit for each: Keerava has a soft spot for family, Bersi has a priceless - and fragile - urn, and Haelga has her devotion to Dibella , goddess of beauty. The debts may be collected in any order you choose, but keep in mind that after you have two debtors in line, the last - whomever that may be - will cave immediately, having heard how you dealt with the others.
Keerava runs Riften's only inn, the Bee and Barb , next to the market. Once inside, you'll find her behind the bar, tending to her patrons. Tell her you have a message from Brynjolf and she will say "I'll already told that buffoon I'm not paying you people a single coin!
The war's seen to that. You can either brawl with her to collect the debt, or you can try the route that Brynjolf suggested if you talked to him. Find Talen-Jei , another Argonian in the tavern, who is Keerava's lover. He will be suspicious of you, but if you tell him to talk some sense into her, he will say, "With the rumors going around about how poorly your Guild's been doing, she's become much too bold.
I'm not that foolish. The last thing I want is a war with your people. Don't mistake this as acceptance for what you do. Keerava has some family at a farm just inside of Morrowind.
If you mention you know about it, she might just listen to you. Just please, don't harm anyone. I couldn't bear the thought. If you return to Brynjolf after receiving Keerava's payment, but before finishing all three debtors, you can offer him Keerava's payment on its own, to which he will respond "She was the toughest of the bunch. Honestly, I'm amazed she didn't kick you out of the Bee and Barb herself.
If Keerava is the last debtor you collect from, she will instead say, "Look, everything was all just a misunderstanding. I didn't mean to tell Brynjolf to go jump off the pier. You'll tell him I said sorry, yes?
Take this. Every single coin I owe is there, I swear it. He's usually behind the counter, with his precious Dwemer Urn sitting on a cabinet right across from him. Tell him that you have a message, and he will be disgusted. Oh, it's one of you people. So, Brynjolf doesn't even bother to show up himself anymore, eh?
What's this message? You people are all talk, and everyone knows it! Pay you to protect me? You can't even protect yourselves!
Speak to Brynjolf and he will tell you that he needs you to play debt collector and remind people that the Thieves Guild is still alive and well.
He will stress that there is to be no killing. Head back out of the Flagon from the way you came and turn right at the room where you killed the last bandit. Lower the drawbridge with the nearby lever and go back out into Riften. You can collect the debts in any order, but it is recommended that you do Bersi and Haelga first if your persuasion skill is not that high. All of the targets are hard to convince without first doing the optional objective to soften them up.
Whichever two you do first, by the time you reach the third one your reputation would have preceded you and you would not have to do the optional objective for the final target. If all else fails it is possible to brawl the targets into paying up, not very subtle though. Keerava is the proprietor of the Bee and Barb and can be found behind the bar counter.
Talen-Jei is a waiter in the same place and can be found wandering around the place. Speak to Talen-Jei first. He will tell you he is in love with Keevara. Press him for Keevara's history and convince him that it is for her own protection that he divulges the information.
He will tell you about Keevara's family in the Black Marsh in Morrowind.
