To understand the working principle of air conditioners, you must know about the three major components that make up the air conditioner:. The three components work together for the air conditioner to work. First, a chemical called refrigerant is converted from gas to liquid and then back again.
The pressure and temperature of the chemical are increased by the compressor, which then sends it to the condenser. The condenser performs the function of converting the refrigerant into a liquid. When the refrigerant is in liquid form, it goes back indoors to the evaporator coil. As the name suggests, the evaporator coil evaporates the refrigerant, which performs cooling the indoor coil. A fan then blows the cooled air out, and the heat from the house is absorbed into the refrigerant. In the same way, the refrigerant is cooled down repeatedly until the house has reached the desired temperature.
This process is repeated to bring the house to the required temperature. First, the refrigerant absorbs the heat from the surroundings and increases its temperature.
It then rises from the compressor to the condenser in the form of high-pressure and high-temperature gas. The cold air produced is circulated outwards through a fan, which helps it distribute all over the desired places.
In this way, the desired ambient temperature is achieved. Plasmacluster ions are surrounded by water molecules and are released into the air. The ions form hydroxide OH radicals that will be highly oxidizing when they adhere to the surfaces of airborne microbes.
The microbes including suspended allergens, bacteria, mold, and viruses. Also, it removes hydrogen from the surface proteins, breaking them down. The hydroxide OH radicals combine with hydrogen H to form water H20 which is returned to the air. The air conditioner sucks air into the ducts through a vent. Ducts then blow air back into the house. This process continues until the inside air of your home or business reaches the desired temperature.
When the thermostat senses that the interior temperature is at the desired level, it shuts the air conditioner off. When the room heats up again, the thermostat turns the air conditioner back on until the preferred ambient temperature is achieved again. Usually this is done by squeezing the gas tightly between two solid objects. This raises the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant, preparing it for the condensing process. The refrigerant, now a superheated vapor, reaches the condenser which is located outdoors and is exposed to the outside air.
The outside air absorbs the heat from the refrigerant, lowering the temperature of the refrigerant and changing the state from a gas back into a liquid. Once the heat from the refrigerant is removed to the outdoors, the cold refrigerant travels back indoors to the evaporator to repeat the process over again.
The process continues until the inside temperature of your home reaches your desired level. At this point, your thermostat tells your AC to shut off.
