As these are not fake or unreal; especially there are authenticated documents, papers, jewelers etc. For example every individual is an original piece made by the almighty and there is no one like that same individual, somewhere or the other there will be slight difference. Hence, originals are true things which are one and only one. Their copies can be made for reference; hence those copies can be called as replicas but not the original ones.

You can use either one in any situation and it should sound okay. There is a very subtle small difference though: Genuine means "real" in the sense that it refers to something that is not "fake" or an "imitation" Authentic means "real" in the sense that it is made in a traditional or original way example: "Authentic Korean food" is food that comes from Korea and is made the same way Koreans make the food in Korea.
